Regret taking the Abortion Pill?

It may not be too late.

If you are questioning your abortion decision, you are not alone. We’re here to help. Some women who have taken the abortion pill experience regret. There is a medical procedure available to reverse the effects of the first abortion pill by interrupting the process. At the Pregnancy Resource Center Medical Clinic, we offer the procedure at no cost to you.

Understanding the "abortion pill" or Medical Abortion

If you are questioning your abortion decision, you are not alone.  The abortion pill is actually 2 pills. The first pill blocks progesterone – a hormone needed for developing a healthy baby. The second pill is usually taken 36-72 hours later, and expels the embryo. The no-cost medical reversal procedure is available to you and may reverse the effects of the first abortion pill by interrupting the process.

Understanding the reversal protocol

If you have taken the first pill which blocks progesterone, the reversal protocol will increase progesterone, a natural hormone in a woman’s body that is necessary to nurture and sustain a pregnancy. The protocol is most effective if taken within 24 – 48 hours after ingesting the first pill. However, there have been many successful outcomes up to 72 hours after taking the first pill.
